This compatible DR2025 drum unit includes a new drum and cleaning blade in a recycled cartridge. It has an average yield of 12,000 pages under ideal conditions, but this will vary according to how the machine is used.

A major influence on cartridge life is the number of revolutions of the drum. The drum turns before the page enters the printer and after it exits, so if you do mostly single-page print jobs the total number of pages the cartridge will print will be lower than for multi-page print jobs.

How to reset the drum counter on the basic printer models (to stop the drum light from blinking): With the front cover open, press and hold down the Go button for about 4 seconds until all the LEDs light up. Once all 4 LEDs are lit, release the Go button. This applies to HL-2030, HL-2030R, HL-2035, HL-2035R, HL-2040, HL-2040R, HL-2070N, HL-2070NR models.

How to reset the drum counter on multifunction models: Open the front cover and press the Options key on the control panel. The display will show "REPLACE DRUM - 1.YES 2.NO". Press 1 to reset the drum count then close the front cover. This applies to DCP-7020, FAX-2820, FAX-2910, FAX-2920, MFC-7220, MFC-7225N, MFC-7420, MFC-7820N models.
